Build measurable evaluation, regression testing, and review processes for AI quality.
Raise engineering output through AI-assisted development, testing, and operations.

Requirements
A bachelor's degree in a technical field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
15+ years of engineering leadership, including significant CTO or VP of Engineering experience.
Current, hands-on production experience with foundation models, agentic systems, retrieval, fine-tuning, and evaluation.
Measured results from agents running real business processes.
Rigorous evaluation methods, with evidence that changes improved outcomes.
Understanding of AI economics: model routing, hosted vs. self-hosted options, latency, and cost.
A track record of hiring and making tough performance decisions.
Still writes and reviews code, and has worked on distributed systems and cloud infrastructure at scale.
Experience modernizing large systems without stopping the business.
Experience leading a globally distributed remote team.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
