Help finance staff reconcile invoices in ProSave by checking that supporting documents are accurate and complete.
Prepare M-Pesa payment vouchers for authorization and payment.
Help the finance team file and archive documents.
Prepare the General Ledger and Cash Offline Spreadsheets (GLACOS) and check that charge codes are accurate.
Help with the monthly bank reconciliation.
Help process monthly payroll statutory deductions to regulatory authorities.
Back up finance documents to the DMS on a timely basis.
Complete weekly single-account and balance sheet reconciliations and prepare schedules for review.
Prepare adjustment and reallocation journals.
Assist with audit requirements.
Upload manual payments in ProSave and ensure they are approved for payment.
Carry out other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent, or a professional accounting qualification.
At least one year of accounting experience, with not-for-profit accounting preferred.
Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Familiarity with computerized accounting systems.
Able to analyze data and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
Proven ability to handle a heavy workload.
High level of integrity and commitment to preventing corruption.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Willing to travel occasionally to country offices.
Local or international accounting qualification, completed or partly completed, desired.
