Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Digital and AI Officer, the role leads the bank's enterprise AI agenda and drives adoption of AI, generative AI and agentic AI, turning business priorities into scalable, responsible AI solutions.
Develop and execute a multi-year AI strategy and roadmap aligned with corporate goals.
Identify, prioritize and deliver high-impact AI use cases in credit, fraud, collections, customer service, technology and other areas.
Oversee cross-functional AI teams from experimentation through deployment, adoption and benefit tracking.
Define enterprise AI architecture, engineering standards and lifecycle practices, including MLOps, monitoring, reusable services and cost optimization.
Establish AI governance covering security, fairness, transparency, accountability and regulatory compliance.
Work with business leaders to embed AI in processes, drive adoption and change management, and track outcomes.
Partner with Data & Analytics to ensure AI is built on trusted, governed, reusable data.
Lead a high-performing AI team and AI Centre of Excellence, attract specialist talent and promote AI literacy across the bank.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology or a related field.
Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, MBA, Analytics or a related discipline.
Professional certifications in AI, machine learning, cloud platforms, data science or enterprise architecture will be an added advantage.
At least 10 years' experience in technology, data, analytics, digital transformation or AI.
At least 5-7 years in senior leadership overseeing enterprise-scale AI, analytics or technology functions.
Proven record delivering large-scale AI and machine learning programs from strategy to production with measurable impact.
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams of data scientists, engineers, architects and business stakeholders.
Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, telecommunications or other highly regulated industries.
