Support the monthly payroll for crew across several jurisdictions, meeting submission deadlines
Check payroll inputs such as salaries, leave, overtime, allowances, deductions and reimbursements
Record changes for joiners, leavers, promotions, transfers, contract amendments and bank or personal detail updates
Keep payroll records and supporting documents accurate in payroll and crew systems
Work with Crew HR, Crew Planning, Finance and external payroll providers to resolve missing or inconsistent data
Prepare payroll reports, payment files and schedules for approval
Reconcile payroll results against source data and investigate differences
Help ensure statutory payroll data and documents are complete
Answer crew payroll queries about payslips, deductions and allowances
Escalate complex issues to the Senior Payroll Officer
Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external audits
Follow payroll controls and procedures and help improve processes

Some experience in payroll, accounting, finance, HR or shipping administration (preferred)
Degree in finance, accounting, HR, shipping or a related field (advantageous)
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
Good organisation and ability to meet strict monthly deadlines
Analytical, solution-focused approach to discrepancies
Confidence with Microsoft Excel and other digital systems
Discretion with confidential employee information
Works well in a team and independently
Fluent written and spoken English; German is an advantage
