Entry-level software engineering role for 2025 and 2026 graduates, working Monday to Friday in a team aligned to one time zone (EMEA, APAC or AMER).
Help shape your product's roadmap at global sprints held about every six months
Focus on design and user experience, including for developer tools and command-line apps
Write high-quality, resilient, performant code that may serve millions of daily users
Work toward mastery of key programming languages and Linux systems
Engage with users and the open source community through code reviews and issue trackers
Prioritize customer issues and build an understanding of enterprise requirements
Build skills in security-aware software design and implementation

Strong academic results in high school and university
An undergraduate degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics or another STEM field with programming coursework
Confidence delivering high-quality code in Python, Rust, C/C++, Go, JavaScript or Java
Experience with Ubuntu or another Linux distribution
A record of going beyond expectations and being organized and results-driven
Personal technology projects beyond coursework
Professional written and spoken English
Strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, accountability and self-reflection
Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events of up to two weeks
Nice to have: Upstream open source contributions
Nice to have: Packaging or distribution contributions (e.g. Debian, Fedora, Arch, Nix)
Nice to have: Leadership, organization, presentation or writing skills
Nice to have: Business or commercial interests
