Help customers design and deploy private and public cloud, Linux and open source solutions, including hands-on deployment and testing, handover to support or managed services teams, and writing Python for Kubernetes operators and infrastructure-as-code.
Work across the Linux stack, from kernel and networking to storage and applications
Write Python to build and deliver open source code
Architect infrastructure on-premises or in AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, using technologies such as OpenStack, Kubernetes, Ceph, Hadoop and Spark
Coach and develop colleagues in areas where you have expertise
Help build a collaborative engineering culture
Travel up to 25% for internal and external events
Requirements
A university degree in computer science or related software engineering experience
Solid knowledge of cloud concepts and technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenStack and the major public clouds
Practical Linux and networking skills
Intermediate to advanced Python skills
Enjoys joining new projects and working with people
A demonstrated drive for continual learning
Excellent English communication and presentation skills
Strong organizational skills and reliable follow-through
Nice to have: speaking a second language
