Enhance and maintain the core list-management service for an electronic corporate bond trading platform, owning trade negotiation and execution across several trading protocols.
Build and extend integration services that connect the platform to internal and external trading systems.
Develop C++ services on Linux within a microservices architecture using a shared framework and schema-driven code generation (FlatBuffers and Protobuf).
Contribute across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Work with business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions for client needs.
Work with QA and support teams to resolve issues in development, testing and production.
Requirements
8+ years of commercial C++ experience building production services; C++20 preferred, strong C++17 acceptable.
Strong modern C++ skills, including the STL, templates and generic programming, RAII and object lifetimes, design patterns and core concurrency concepts.
Comfort with template-heavy C++ code.
Experience building, debugging and profiling Linux services in production.
Ability to choose appropriate data structures and algorithms for efficient business logic.
Experience with microservices or service integrations in distributed systems.
Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Nice to have: experience with electronic trading, order management or fixed-income markets.
Nice to have: background in low-latency or high-throughput systems, network protocols or pub/sub architectures.
Nice to have: familiarity with Protobuf, FlatBuffers, Redis or similar.
Nice to have: experience with Python, shell scripting, CMake/Conan or AI-assisted development tools.
