Run the daily payment cycle for assigned countries, checking requests against approval flows and handling failed payments
Track balances across markets, spot funding gaps and confirm that only forecast cash leaves the bank
Manage bank master data, beneficiary details, bank detail changes and account openings and closures
Serve as the main contact for local finance and operations teams, banks and payment providers
Build quarter-end and year-end audit evidence, including bank confirmations, reconciliation inputs and SOX controls
Automate or streamline manual steps through process, payment systems and AI tools

Degree in Accounting, Management, Finance or equivalent training
Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve reconciliation differences
Control mindset, with the willingness to flag suspicious requests
High precision in payment work
Comfort with new systems and data, and a preference for automation
Adaptability to multiple legal entities, banks and rules across Africa, Europe and the UAE
Fluent English, written and spoken; French is a plus
Previous treasury operations experience, including payments through a banking portal or payments platform (nice to have)
Exposure to African markets, FX restrictions or cash repatriation (nice to have)
Experience with Citibank platforms, particularly CitiDirect (nice to have)
