Receive raw materials and bought-in goods against purchase orders, checking quantity and quality and logging receipts in the inventory system
Issue materials to production against manufacturing orders and record consumption
Book finished goods into the finished-goods store and handle picking, packing and transfers
Run cycle counts, maintain bin locations and reconcile system records with physical stock
Keep both stores clean, secure and organized and apply FIFO where relevant
Flag low stock and reorder points to the Inventory Planner
Maintain accurate receiving records, stock movement logs and stock reports
Uphold security, housekeeping and safety standards

At least 3 years in stores, warehouse or inventory control, ideally in manufacturing or retail distribution
Hands-on experience with an inventory, MRP or ERP system and ability to learn new systems quickly
Strong numeracy and accuracy with systematic record-keeping
Reliable, organized and honest
Understanding of bills of materials (BOMs) and familiarity with cycle counting and stock-accuracy practices
